New LE Collection

I woke up this morning at half past nine to find a new LE collection had just been released. As there was the contest for the face of LE we knew it was coming so I had saved up over 800 stardollars to spend.
At a glance I wasn't keen on the collection, I'm not a massive fan of fringe and many of the items were covered in fringes. However, at a closer glance I found a lot of good items that I loved.
I managed to spend all of my money and I bought 13 items, this is what I got:

All in all, while this collection was not what I'd call grunge it's still got a good range of clothes and there's something for most people. They also had good clothes for male dolls, some of which I wish there was a female alternative!
If you haven't already, I'd definitely recommend you buy some items. The prices aren't as high as we expected and you can get some great items for your stardollars.

Also, congratulations to the gorgeous face of LE, xXEwelina1996Xx!

Spotted this gorgeous look on MadelyneApple, and I've discovered another item to add to my wishlist (that sweater!)

Strike A Pose Review + DIY Leg Pose

Yesterday brought a new store, Strike A Pose, a store dedicated to clothing to give the appearances of different poses for your medoll.

Sadly, it was limited and the numbers were low so it sold out within hours, leaving people who missed it a little annoyed at how little warning we were given.

Stardoll also promised access to the store for non superstars today but obviously everything was gone, taking away that hope they had given to non ss.
I found this extremely deceiving of Stardoll, they should've just kept it for only ss or they should've had more pieces of each to give non superstars the chance to own some of the items.

I loved this collection nonetheless and, though disappointed I couldn't get a piece, I think it was a great idea and I'm definitely going to buy some in bazaar when it becomes sellable (I've already made a deal for the street style latte pose for then).

The most popular item, no doubt, was the New York Blazer Denim. As I recall, it was the first to sell out and there's already a lot of people looking for it, I'm sure it'll become quite rare in the future.
If you, like many others, missed out on it, here's a simple way to mimic the look.

You'll need:
- Some jeans for male dolls
- 2 pairs of the same shoes (make sure they cover your entire foot)
- a shirt (preferably long)

- a big, tall item (I used a decor guitar case)
- another decor item (I used a flower pot)
You might also need a jacket, depending on the shirt

1. First place the jeans on your doll like so.

2. Put your dolls shirt on like normal.

3. Put on one of the two pairs of shoes.

4. Place your tall item on your doll, to cover your leg.

5. Flip the other pair of shoes and place them so it looks like a foot.

6. Cover the other half of the second pair of shoes with another item.

7. Add a jacket if it looks too messy... Or if you think the outfit would look awesome with a jacket.

8. And you're done!

Fashion Fix - HB Valentin Jacket

One of the months hotbuys, the Valentin Jacket, has been released.
1

On the hanger it looks gorgeous, a casual yet classy jacket. 1
2

However, when you try it on your doll, you get something with a gap in between your doll and the jacket, covering your hands. 2

It looks a bit weird, and obviously real life jackets don't look like that, so how can you fix this?

3
All you need are some black items, like that tank top and skirt! 3

Simply place the items to cover up the gaps and put them behind everything else.

You should end up with something like this! 4

I hope this helped you in some way. Styled this in an awesome outfit? Show me in the comments!

Until next time...

Outfit Of The Day #7

Bonjour Bizou Tompkin Square Dark Jacket - 14sd
Top designed by TerryBear - 10sd
Hot Hot Buys Lace Denim - 18sd
Cheap Monday Carly Ellwood Shoes - 13sd
Today I decided upon a casual double denim look. I love how the hair and shoes make it a lot less casual, I'm sure this would be suitable attire for a house party or something like that.
I love the top, I just bought it from TerryBear's bazaar and I don't think this shows it off enough, so here's what it looks like underneath the jacket in all it's glory.
It's cute and I have quite the obsession for ponies and unicorns as the My Little Pony sweater I'm wearing as I write this would suggest. I have about 3 pony shirts in real life so it's only fitting I have a unicorn shirt in the virtual world as well!

Love it? Hate it? Don't hesitate to tell me below!
